My so called life

Feb 13

We came home tonight and an envelope was pushed under the door.
Inside was a generous gift card to a neighborhood restaurant and a note apologizing for the disturbance Saturday night and hoping we can remain friendly neighbors.
We stayed in the burbs Saturday night. I investigated. Turns out he young-ish (and very good looking) Dr that lives down the hall came home with a rambunctious girl at 3am and let the dog (and the girl) run around in the hallway and make a bunch of noise.
There are 7 units on our floor. Three have young kids. I’m assuming if we got one the other parents got one too (at least one came out to ask them to keep it down). Maybe all of us? That’s a hefty price to pay for a cute girl!
We returned the gift card. No harm, no, no foul. Party on kid!
