Weekend update
~ Friday: girl date with LD. Tried to go to Davanti but there was an hour and a half wait - at 6:15! This place is definitely on the hot list. Went to Francesca’s instead (an excellent 2nd choice) for some amazing scallops. To the Icon to see Blue Valentine on which I will share my thoughts later. Wow.
~ Saturday: Jewel and Whole Foods before the rest of the world was awake. Naps....

Got my W2 last night and after some calculations realized that I’m making $2k less than I thought I was. After insurance, taxes, 401k and divided up by 26 pay periods, not a huge deal but still disappointing.

Plain as day - even I could see it! The Trader started clapping and I choked up. We are very happy and excited to have 2 monster-rugrats 2 years apart. I have visions of them being on the same sports teams and all the pretty girls wanting to date them. Rachel Zoe has heard my prayers. This morning, I gave up and finally went to put on my maternity pants from last time. Friday - Packed and got my DVR queue cleared out

Client Meeting
With my bosses boss and her boss - so it’s a big deal. My suit pants do not fit me so I’m wearing a silk dress. I am afraid to eat or drink anything for fear that I am going to spill on myself. Good weekend, terrible Sunday night.

Mommy and Sammy Day

Sammy and I went back to Ina’s this morning to confirm if they did, indeed, have the best pancakes in Chicago. The answer is affirmative! The place is nothing fancy and a bit expensive for breakfast but my, oh my those plain old buttermilk pancakes rocked my world - again.
